The Historical Yolanda Ranch is ideally located twenty minutes from the Sacramento Airport between Davis and Woodland, California.

Step into History

The Historical Yolanda Ranch home was built by George Cobbs for a total of $10,000. The Ranch's first owner, Byron Jackson, used the 160 acres to grow grapes and other fruits. His practice later evolved into an extensive horticultural enterprise.

1905

After inventing the centrifugal pump, Jackson sold the Ranch to George Hecke. Hecke continued the Ranch's booming horticulture. Hecke's daughter Leila and son-in-law Charles Hardy ran the Ranch for many years after. Hardy served as County Agricultural Commissioner from 1930 to 1963.

The Broward family purchased the Ranch, where they established strong roots. After restoring the Ranch house, the Browards opened the Ranch doors to share the incredible venue with others.

Fun Fact: Current owners Jamee and Jake Broward were the first couple to be married on the Yolanda Ranch!
